How To Download Video From Email To Iphone

The iPhone lets you open and listen to MP3s sent as email attachments, but not to save songs directly to the music app on your iPhone. To move songs that were sent as email attachments onto your iPhone, you must first download them on your computer and then sync via iTunes.

Step 1

Open your email account using the Windows or Mac computer that houses your iTunes library.

Step 4: Download the Dropbox app to your iPhone (only opening on Safari will NOT work) Step 5: Select the video, click on the 3 dots that resemble an ellipses in the top righ corner. Click 'Export'.

Download the MP3 file to your computer hard disk. Take note of the file name and folder location on the hard disk.

Click 'Add File to Library' if you are on a Windows machine, or 'Add to Library' if you are on a Mac.

Step 6

Search for and select the MP3 file you downloaded in Step 3, then click 'Open.'

Connect your iPhone to your computer via a Universal Serial Bus (USB) dock connector and synchronize.

I've been trying to email a video that is 1 minute 20 seconds long. I get an error message that the video is too long to email. I then purchased the 'iMovie' app for 4.99 as it was supposed to be able to reduce the size of the video. Well, I tried that and though it seems to have possibly reduced the size, it still says it's too long when I try to email it. I would appreciate any help regarding how I can reduce the size of this video enough that I could email it. (I tried downloading it to my computer but I have windows XP and it says the file is too large to download). There's got to be a way, but I've spend quite a bit of time trying to figure this out.
